Page Aspen Hub is the registered business name of our audit practice, established in 2019 in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. We began when a small group of chartered accountants and former bank vault custodians noticed a gap: individuals accumulating significant cryptocurrency holdings had no equivalent of the annual inventory checks that institutions perform on their own cold storage.
Our origin
In our first year, we worked exclusively with Korean families who had purchased hardware wallets during the 2017 cycle but never documented what they owned. One engagement involved reconciling eleven devices spread across three family members and two safe-deposit boxes. That case shaped our methodology: start with physical objects, then work outward to addresses and records.
Who we are
Our team includes former institutional custody staff, forensic accountants, and physical security assessors. None of us provide investment advice, trade on behalf of clients, or hold private keys. We observe, document, and report.
Min-seok Chae, lead auditor, spent six years managing cold storage operations for a Seoul-based digital asset custodian before founding Page Aspen Hub. He holds a CPA licence in the Republic of Korea.
Yuna Park specialises in inheritance reconciliation — mapping deceased holders’ devices and backups to transferable records for executors and beneficiaries.
Daniel Okonkwo joined in 2022 with a background in bank vault operations and brings expertise in evaluating physical storage conditions for seed phrase materials.
How we work
Every engagement follows a written scope agreed before we see any private material. We conduct audits on-site at your chosen location in the Seoul metropolitan area, or remotely when you can demonstrate secure video verification of devices. Reports are delivered as bound paper copies and encrypted PDF files.
We serve individual holders, family offices with modest digital asset allocations, and executors managing estates that include offline wallets. We do not audit exchange hot wallets, provide tax filings, or recommend specific coins or custody products.
Values
Accuracy over speed. We would rather extend an engagement by a day than omit a device from the inventory. Confidentiality is maintained through NDAs, clean-desk policies during on-site work, and the destruction of working notes after report delivery unless you request otherwise.
